

MPH Internship: Florida Department of Health- Escambia County
Upon completion of my Master's in Public Health degree, I was given the opportunity to acquire Public Health Field experience through an internship with the Florida Department of Health- Escambia County. I was working with the Communication, Health Education, and Nutrition (CHEN) department. My main projects were focused on smokefree multiunit housing in Escambia County. I also helped with Community Outreach activities. For more information, please review my projects posted below.

Internship: PowerPoint Presentation
The purpose of this PowerPoint is to educate and create awareness on Secondhand Smoke exposure in multiunit housing facilities in Escambia County. It also contains information on what each memeber of the community can do to help implement 100% smoke-free polcies throughout the community.

Social Media Posts
The purpose of these 13 social media posts is to reach out as many members of the community and promote awarness and education on Secondhand smoke exposure among members of the Escambia County community living, owning, and working in multiunit housing. The posts are based on the HBM model and the end goal is to help implement 100% smoke-free policies across the entire community.
